Worked very well on our sectional that sees a lot of traffic. I feel the quality of the cleaning power made it a quicker job than I anticipated.The scent is fresh but not overwhelming.

Got this as well as a Bissell Carpet Deep cleaner for my parents for Christmas. They have an old dog that sheds a lot and has the occasional mishap happen on the carpet that is all around the house. They were so happy, it instantly made the house smell so much better. This is a good value for the price, but I wonder if any carpet cleaner would do the job as i’ve heard it’s pretty similar from one brand to another, and the Bissell brand carpet cleaner solution is more expensive than some, which is why i have removed 1 star.
That being it does deliver on its promise which is to clean your carpet in a home with a pet.
