I used to buy a different brand name of power tools. They were the best I could find back in the 60’s and 70’s and I didn’t have to buy more for a couple of decades… until the battery powered ones started coming of age. My first battery powered drill from another brand became outdated within two years and the batteries didn’t last very long. Fast forward to post Y2K. I went for another drill by my first brand but they seemed to put a lot of emphasis on a flashy design and I saw a comparative Bosh on sale and decided to try it. Geeze, it was great and I still have it (PS 31) and use it and it’s still the original battery. Almost all of the power tools I buy any more are Bosch. They’re powerful, dependable, well designed and well made. Everything I’ve bought from them has been of the highest quality and affordable. Giving this company 5 Stars for their products is easy!

Good quality drill, tried out almost every function and I’m not dissapointed. The battery lasts quite a bit and it is charged very fast during a lunch break. I like the status of the charge on the battery itself. The spindle stop makes it easy to change drills and bits. The ratcheting mechanism of the chuck is nice and holds tools firm in place.
I’m not a fan of the tool bags, but this one comes with a frame sown in and when it is open it stays open like a box and not like some gym bag. I still would have preferred it to be in an L-box.

Such a great drill. The quality is definitely there and the sound of it spinning ahh.. music to my ears. It serves you just fine in your regular day to day needs however, drilling concrete is not as smooth as you might think, you’ll have to work yourself out and it will exhaust you but eventually it’ll get the job done.

The Problem is the supply of the charger 110 only volts, you need to buy again the transformer.

Received the item November 11th, 2025. Tried right away but the hammer part would not not work properly. Had to return. I like the fit it was compact. The only other thing I did not like was the drill part back of the motor was covered in saw dust or something. The packaging did not look original and it seemed like it had been opened and resealed. Either way it did not function and needed to be returned. My original B & D drill was given to my son. Need to find anther hammer/drill.
