This is a very useful item. Blowing dust off the outdoor furniture, blowing leaves out of the garage, blowing leaves off the front walk or porch, or blowing sawdust off a workbench or out of cracks. It has variable speed, and at lower speeds it can avoid the problem of blowing the debris all over the place, especially in confined spaces. It is not a leaf blower, so do not buy it to do your fall leaf clean up. It runs a decently long time on a 4 or 5 amp hour battery, but a 2 amp hour battery might need recharging more often than you would like. The air intake is on the left side of the blower unit, so for right handed people it sometimes sucks your pants or jacket against the intake. Lefties should be just fine.

I’ve been using the DEWALT 20V MAX blower and it’s super handy. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and works great for cleaning up sawdust in the garage or leaves on the patio. The variable speed trigger makes it easy to control, and I love not having to drag around an extension cord. It’s not built for heavy-duty yard work (like wet leaves), but for everyday cleanups it’s perfect. Battery life is decent, but I recommend having a backup if you’ll be using it for a while. Overall, a solid and reliable little blower

Bin elektriker.

Now it might just be my expectations of the Dewalt brand but I wasn’t impressed with the performance of this blower. I bought it to blow out the cab of a piece of equipment but it struggles to move the air volumes required to clean the cab effectively. I use Dewalt 5AH batteries and it burns through the battery life after about 2 minutes of blower usage and doesn’t provide great usability of the tool without having spare batteries charged and ready to use. For light jobs it works okay but don’t expect it to be great.

Rather noisy blower at full setting. Only quiet on lowest setting. As expected, does not put out a lot of volume, so good for small areas only. Even a 200 sq ft area would take a while to clear.
UPDATE: broke down after a year’s use. Local agent in Singapore refused to fix, saying that this item on Dewalt’s Singapore inventory list, and warranty is not international.

This product is small and doesn’t really have a lot of power. Has a few settings from min – max. If you use the max setting, your battery will die out pretty fast.
It would be ideal for small jobs

Nice unit and a handy one.
I run a really nice scenic path in the local area that has trees, bridges, ponds and stuff. Lots of wildlife such as geese, ducks and whatever else you’d expect. The paths are (or were) covered in duck poo until I showed up with this gadget.
It has three settings, all I use. The high is good for the sticky stuff on the pavement as it has a bit of force to jostle it, the medium and low are great for the light gravel portions and I just want the poo to blow to the side and not the gravel.
A lot of the reviews say the battery life is not very good but they’re using the wrong battery. You want this to be 100% for the duration of use so get the right battery. The 9 amp I show here on the tool is great but heavy. I actually used a soft strap to support the weight when I used it but, I can use this forever with it. The five amp is a lot lighter and still I get enough to use it for the half hour I need to clear the path.
Those 2 amp ones are a waste of time for something like this so don’t t be cheap, get the better battery to make your life easier. Heck, they work on the other Dewalt tools you can get such as the vacuum, grinder, polisher and saws. The only thing those 2 amps are good for is the one handed grip on the drills when you’re up in the air with one arm doing drywall or something.
Anyhow, rant off, back to the tool. It can’t move mountains or a ton of snow (so better keep your back pack gas powered Husky) but great for leaves and crap on the driveway and saw dust and light debris in the shop or garage. What’s wonderful about it is that it’s ‘right there’ 24/7, meaning you don’t have to fill it with gas, find an extension cord so it’s always ready to go.
I haven’t used it to blow up pools, air mattresses or toys but it has a couple of little attachments to do that with so those with kids will find it even handier. Heck, I even use it to dust off my keyboard (which saves me on those little air cans right there)
With no charger or battery I paid I think $109 Cdn. It’s not going to save the world or move mountains but heck, does what I bought it for in spades.
