It’s not a good product as per the price. Overall the kind of finish and material used are very low. With such a high price one looks for quality. Don’t go on the pictures added on amazon. Its not listed on prime. So you will not get a verified product that what I got a reply from Amazon team. I wished to keep it but the pasting quality and finishing are looking very cheap. So I am returning it.

I found this was easy to put together just following the pictures in the instructions. It mainly uses a single allen key but you do need a phillips screw driver to attach the braces to the back of the shelving that comes in 2 pieces. That one just has guide holes so you need to use a little force to get the small screws in, but all the others have well drilled holes. Altogther it took just over 30 mins and looks great, I was alble to clear most of a regular 3 shelf bookshelf and this uses a much smaller footprint which is excellent in my small apartment. I am not allowed to put holes in the walls so I did not follow up with the support hardware to attach it to the wall, but I made sure the heavy books were at the bottom and it seems stable to me. I might remove the bottom drawer and stash some dictionary/textbooks there just to ensure it is weighted properly, but I am not too concerned.
Update Nov 2024: it has had paperback novels on the upper shelves but apparently that was too heavy for it as the back is curving forward away from the wall as the two boards acting as the back support is not stable enough to support weight. I am going to try and find a way to reinforce the back, but the wood may have warped at this point. Disappointing, I was planning on getting a second, still think it is cute but be mindful of what you put on the upper shelves.

I think it looks great in my home office/gym/man cave. I need to save space so the tall, narrow build is a plus. Beautiful wood grain color is a rich brown/black. It’s well built, easy to assemble with easy to understand instructions and holds various sized books well.
I wish that the drawer was also wood but the soft folding type works ok and still looks good.
The shelf is very stabile on a hard floor but I have it on carpet so it wanted to lean forward a tad. I used the included wall anchor strap and just made sure it was aligned with the pre-drilled hole to place the screw anchor. You’re supposed to leave the strap slack behind the shelf but I had the idea to let it show to match the black/wood/gray color scheme of my office. Grabbed a longer screw from my toolbox instead of the included one to be able to drill through the back board and have enough to hold against the wall. I’m happy with the result. Good value and makes things easy to see and grab. Better than a stack in the floor in the corner like before!
One gripe… the little stickers that label each piece use a slightly too strong adhesive so they tear as they come off and require rubbing to get it all off. Minor annoyance that I dealt with after the photos.

Good things to note:
Price is okay, delivered very quick, packaging was great, easy to build, decent quality of wood for the price, the instructions were easy to follow. The end result is very charming and is functional. Great for smaller books and what I needed it for.
Less good things to note:
“The drawer” it comes with is not easy to pull out or put into the thing. I have to use both hands to use it and it’s annoying. I think part of the blame is the seam on the right side. I just won’t use the drawer.
The super tiny screw at the bottom of the third plank keeping it in place has to be put in at an angle and I totally botched it and split the wood a bit. But that’s on me I think. So just keep in mind to be super accurate when assembling it at that part.
All in all is decent. Just really annoyed with the drawer.

Holds a lot of books and overall is sturdy and worth the price , the only thing that would make it better in my view is a stronger bracket to brace the back , but other than that ok to put together alone ( takes longer ) with 2 people would be faster , recommend product overall

I love these! I bought 2 of them and took me about 2 hours to put together without power tools. I did take a bit longer with the second one, make sure you read the instructions because its easy to set these up wrong if your not paying attention to the manual! They are a little unstable, if you have kids i recommend anchoring them. I don’t have kids and theyre sturdy enough i didnt bother to do anchors.
