The sponges are literally the best thing for glass top stoves. I’ve added pictures so you can see them before and after to show what a difference it makes they’re super durable they never stink. They make cleaning super easy. I know they can be used on frying pans and stuff but I use it slowly for my stove. I do a little soap and water first and then I use a little bit of them and it’s like brand new it does not leave scratches or marks on your glass top either super safe to use, this pack was like a value pack so I got four packs of four and it was amazing. This will last forever I highly suggest these.

My favourite sponges. These are our daily use sponge for washing dishes, and wiping up. I like how long they last and that the one side is non-scratch.

I was really tired of the usual dollar store sponges I’ve been using for what seems like forever and after seeing a review of kitchen sponges on America’s Test Kitchen, started looking for their winner from O’Cedar but was never able to find them here in Canada. Then I came across this sponge which looked identical and which, after a bit of investigation, turned out to be the exact same product which is sold in Canada under the Vileda brand name. I added them to my ‘Wish List’ and when they came up on sale, I took the jump and ordered them, and I have to say I’m really glad I did.
These are quite the workhouse when it comes to kitchen sponges. The soft side is nice and tough, more than tough enough for most cleaning tasks and for the few it isn’t, the scrubber side will take care of easily. Neither side will scratch any surface that I have tried them on, and they are very easy to wring out, not requiring the strength of Dwayne Johnson to do so. After almost a month of use, the sponge is still as good as new and, very importantly, odour free. As a single guy who lives alone, my usage profile is a bit lighter than someone with a family to clean up after, so your mileage will vary, but I expect this sponge to provide me many months of service before needing to be replaced.
I’ve used this sponge on everything from glass to non-stick frying pans to enamelled cast iron to regular cast iron without the slightest problem. I have found it exceptional to clean the removable ceramic grill plates on my Foreman Evolve grill that I received as a gift, requiring no more than hot water and a rinse to get them sparkling clean.
I never expected to be writing a review for a KITCHEN SPONGE in my life, but here I am doing it because these sponges deserve it. I was used to picking up a 12 pack of dollar store sponges every few months, tossing them as they either fell apart or started getting a little too odoriferous, which usually took a couple of weeks. This sponge is still going great after almost a month and I expect it to last a couple of months more before needing replacement, so this box of 16 is going to last me a very long time. At three months per sponge, that will work out to FOUR YEARS!!! They will more than pay for themselves just in the time saved from running to a dollar store to buy sponges! LOLOL
What more can I say? If you want a quality sponge that is great for cleaning just about anything, easy to wring out, won’t smell up your kitchen and lasts a long time, I don’t think you can make a better choice.

Scrubber is very strong. I’d be cautious about using it on non-sticks and softer plastic containers.

The Vileda Scrunge Multi-Use Non-Scratch Scrub is perfect for most cleaning tasks. It effectively removes dirt and grime without scratching surfaces, making it ideal for non-stick cookware and delicate areas. It’s durable, easy to rinse clean, and holds up well after multiple uses.
However, it’s not the best option for cleaning thick grease. Grease tends to stick to the scrubber, and it can be tough to get it all out. For lighter cleaning, it’s great, but for heavy-duty grease, you might want to try a different scrubber.
