Very good vacuum overall, the suction power is okay for most of debris that i need to pickup such as cat hairs, girlfriend hairs and cat litter pellets. This wonderful tool avoids me to take out my big Electrolux vaccum on a daily basis. The battery could last longer but that probably explains why the ON button needs to be held for the vacuum to run (to avoid you to run it non-stop and drain the battery instantly). I estimate a running time of 5-7 minutes per charge, not more. If you want to clean your whole home with it you will lack battery time as it isn’t designed for that. I think that the retractable nozzle is somewhat useless and very hard to pull out and back in, it feels like its gonna break so i leave mine always in. The thin shape of the dust container also traps some dust that are hard to remove when cleaning it (not really dramatic though). So overall im really satisfied of it for 40$ it does well what im expecting it to do and is a real time/energy saver and makes my home floors alot cleaner. The noise level is also relatively low which is also a positive thing. Good product i use it at least 2-3 times per day to pickup most of the visible particules/hairs on my floors

Works well on hard surfaces, but really struggles to do anything on carpet. Doesn’t come with narrow nozzle for small gaps/crevices, and the base nozzle doesn’t create a good seal to force suction. Can only suck up larger objects that don’t really adhere to the surface like crumbs or large dust bunnies.

I fell for this product based on other positive UK reviews but it does not come with a UK comptible plug and then Amazon expected me to mail it back to Indianapolis! I fought my corner and got a refund but its left me with a new vacuum to dispose of which is not an eco solution and I still have to purchase an item that actually works in this country. Why oh why do Amazon UK even stock this item in their store knowing full well it is not an item that can be used unless you are planning to take a hand vac on holiday to the States with you…..

Love this little vacuum! I mainly use it for cat hair around room edges and other surfaces, and it works great. It’s lightweight, powerful for its size, and super easy to clean after use. Perfect for quick pickups and small messes.
The only downside is the long charging time (around 10 hours), but it’s worth it for how convenient and effective it is.
Pros: strong suction, easy to clean, lightweight, great for pet hair

Had the vacuum for a few days now, and it’s exactly what I needed! Live with my girlfriend in a ~900sqft 1bed apt, and we were looking for something to spotclean occasionally that’s not our monstrous plug-in. Our dream is a Dyson, but definitely overkill in price right now. So we decided to give this B&D cordless a shot, and for $40CAD, it’s PERFECT for our small apartment.
USE CASE
Love using this after we cook a big meal, and every couple of days on the bathroom where hairs get everywhere… and just dusty places in general! Unless you have a 400sqft studio, this will not be sufficient for a comprehensive clean of your house, but great for getting those couch crumbs and just errant dust and whatever. It makes a huge difference!
SUCTION & BATTERY
Haven’t noticed anything that it can’t do, but we don’t make big messes and don’t have pets. Hair, crumbs, and dust goes right in. The vacuum is triggered by a button on your thumb, so you can be pretty efficient with battery usage—there’s no noticeable “start-up lag”, stuff pretty much comes in right when you press the button. I did a session yesterday going pretty hard for about 10 minutes, and didn’t notice a dropoff.
EMPTYING & FILTER
The filter is kind of a pain to clean. All the stuff clumps on the filter and you have to remove it by hand at minimum every other time you do a serious vacuum. You can’t just shake it off. The filter is re-washable with soap and hot water, and they say to replace it every 6-9 months.
SPACE/STORAGE
We rent our apt, so we’re being hesitant right now about wall-mounting, but it’s fine just setting it horizontally on the ground as well to charge. There’s no “plug in” charge option—you have to use the dock, which is a little tricky at first but pretty stable even lying flat.
VALUE
At time of purchase this was $40 without coupons, and it’s starting to seem like a huge deal compared to everything else which is either from an unproven Chinese brand. Only question is longevity, but if this thing lasts at least a year with decent suction, everything else will be a bonus. Thanks to B&D for making such an affordable and useful product!

It’s lightweight, powerful, and perfect for quick cleanups around the house, car, or even hard-to-reach corners.
