HelloRuby –
I was influenced to buy this vacuum, and found it to be basically useless for me. I was duped! The suction is remarkably weak, the dirt cup is so tiny that you’re constantly emptying it, and the battery life is very short. I expected far better from a well know brand like Shark. I returned this and purchased a Black & Decker red hand-vac for less than half the price — and I’m 10x happier with that unit. And no, I’m not trying to do industrial cleaning here. I’m using it for kitchen crumbs, some dog hair that builds up in corners, some dirt at the front door where we take off our shoes. Simple stuff. The only thing the Shark had going for it was its sleek design; it’s a great looking vacuum. Too bad I need a vacuum that actually works, as opposed to one that just looks good. Save your money, get a B&D.

INFORMATIVE REVIEW
WHY I BOUGHT THIS: I’ve used robot vacuums for many years now, but I always keep a handheld handy for when cat litter gets in crevices or other hard to reach (for the robot) places. My Dyson was just getting weaker and litter would fall back out of it once it was powered off, and really, it was just too big for what I needed.
THE GOOD:
SIZE & WEIGHT: The size is fantastic coming from larger handheld vacuums. It just feels like a natural extension of your arm. Part of that is that the weight is evenly distributed and you’re not fighting to hold it up. The charging dock is small and simple enough that it’s out of the way. I’ve included a photo with it and an Xbox controller for scale. This can easily be tucked away on a shelf easily!
NOISE: Noise is subjective – and I was amazed at how quiet this was. However, you’ll read reviews on Amazon and other sites saying it’s extremely loud. So, I’m coming from a Dyson handheld, and then of course my robot vacuums – this Shark is only 1/2 the volume of those. So, I was pleasantly surprised by this.
SUCTION: My cat has always loved to be vacuumed. So I tried that with this and OMG it literally sucked all his fur/skin up and the suction was so tight! He didn’t mind, but I could barely remove the vacuum unless I turned off the power. Also, I have a hardwood floor with some little gaps in between. No. vacuum has ever been able to get the bits of litter from there – but this one can. This is the most powerful handheld vacuum I’ve ever used.
THE KINDA GOOD:
THE BATTERY: The battery life is sufficient for my needs. I literally just need to vacuum for 1 minutes around the living room getting litter/cat hair from under a few speaker stands etc. However, if I wanted to use this for my Jeep that would be a close call and so depending on your vehicle it might or might not work for you.
THE NOT SO GOOD:
PACKAGING/ACCESSORIES: I have the WV200C which is the Canadian version. It is (at this time) $60 cheaper than the US version. All my research said that there might be one less accessory.
However, what has happened is that the supplied dock does not hold both included attachments – EVEN THOUGH the manual explicitly says it will.
I’ve included photos showing the correct model of vacuum, and the instructions saying that there is a double pocket storage tray that YOU MUST insert into the stand yourself. This is NOT TRUE. The stand included is pre configured with one storage slot, there is no way to change this. I’ve included a photo showing this single tray.
THE CHARGING BASE: As others have noted, I do wish it was able to be hung from a wall. Options are good.
IN CONCLUSION: For me, this is a great device. I don’t vacuum for more than a few minutes at a time and the suction is fantastic. I’d rather have this instead of more battery but weaker suction. It looks good, can be stored nearly anywhere.
I’m giving this 5 stars because even the short battery life won’t interfere with how I use this. Worth the purchase.

Its lightweight design is a blessing for someone like me, who finds heavy lifting not as easy as it used to be. I’ve used other handheld vacuums in the past, but they often felt like lugging around a small boulder. The Shark WANDVAC, on the other hand, is so light and manageable, it’s almost like using a magic wand to tidy up the house.
The suction power of the WANDVAC is nothing short of amazing. It’s far superior to any other handheld vacuum I’ve tried. A case in point is when one of my houseplants took a tumble and spilled soil all over the carpet. I was dreading the cleanup, fearing the soil would be ground into the fibers. However, the WANDVAC proved its mettle by sucking up all the dirt in no time, leaving the carpet looking as if the accident never happened. It was a moment that genuinely surprised me, considering how other vacuums have struggled with similar messes in the past.
The Shark WANDVAC Handheld Vacuum has made cleaning less of a chore and more of a breeze. It’s a product that has earned its place in my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with its performance. For those looking for a reliable, powerful, and user-friendly handheld vacuum, I cannot recommend the Shark WANDVAC enough. It’s truly a game-changer.

Good small vacuum. Battery is ok for about 15-20 minutes cleaning. Beware, this vacuum has an inner filter that clogs up and won’t even start up if you don’t clean it. Make sure to open the inner filter and dump/clean it once in while. Has good sucking power.

This handheld vacuum has become one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. It’s small, light, and always ready to grab, so any crumbs or small messes are cleaned up in just a few seconds. I’ve used it for a while before writing this review, and it’s been very reliable for everyday quick clean-ups.
Cons:
• Limited colour options – it would be nice to have more colour choices to match different kitchens or home styles.
Pros:
• Very lightweight and compact, easy to grab with one hand and use around the kitchen.
• Strong enough to quickly pick up crumbs, dust, and even cat hair.
• The filter and dust cup are small and very easy to remove, wash, and put back.
• You can empty the dirt right away after cleaning, which keeps the vacuum fresh and ready for next time.
• In my video I can operate it comfortably with one hand, which shows how convenient it is.
• The two different attachments can both be stored neatly on the base, so the tools don’t get lost.
Suggestions for improvement:
• Offer more colour options so people can choose a version that better fits their kitchen or home decor.
