I took a while considering what product to buy with a 2in1 feature as I have hardwood and carpet and didn’t want to keep changing appliances overall this was the ideal purchase for me!
The Pros:
It’s lightweight and easy to use, that was something I desired in this product as no one wants a bad back after cleaning up the house
The combined vacuum and mop is the reason I bought it in the first place and it does exactly as expected I was using a steam mop and brush and it outshines both individually
Battery life is important when dealing with multiple surfaces and I didn’t even use a quarter charge before I was finished
The additional appliances are really useful initially thinking I wouldn’t use them at all have been incredibly helpful
The downsides:
You definitely should use one function at a time and not swap back and forth to retain great results all the time
Don’t wet the animal hair before you plan to vacuum it up once it clumps Welty you have no chance picking it up easily

I’ve owned mine for about 7 months now. I have to tell you I’m impressed with my Tineco S5 Combo. My place is small, just under 400 sq ft. I can vacuum-mop my place on one charge including any needed self-cleaning. Sometimes I have to stop and empty the dirty water tank and fill up the clean water one. That’s okay. Given it’s cleaning my floors with less than one litre of water, I am definitely not complaining. I usually run it across my floors two to three times a week. If I need a deep clean, I use the cleaning solution (about once a week). More often than not, I just wash with hot water.
When I moved into my place, it wasn’t the cleanest. Enter my Tineco S5 Combo. I went over the place with hot water and cleaning solution—twice. I did a hot water rinse on it. The floor was immaculate when done. Having lower back issues, it being lightweight (about 4 kg/8 lbs.) makes keeping the floors clean so much easier. Vacuuming, mopping and rinsing the old fashioned way meant spending a half a day managing my back pain and being generally unhappy.
This, this little vacuum-mopper makes life easier and less painful. Being able to use it as a cordless vac for baseboards and general cleaning is immeasurably helpful.
I am pleased I bought my S5 Combo.

It’s good for light cleaning/maintenance and the mop cleans floors quite well. thr big downside for me is the battery and charging speed.
The water tank is relatively small but you probably have somewhere in each floor to fill it up. Despite how they advertise it, I suggest using common sense, if you have a big nasty mess, just do a quick wipe with a paper towel before using this mop. It’s not magic, all that stuff goes into the dirty water tank which you have to clean anyway.
Also, all the reviews where ppl say it smells, its because they’re not cleaning or emptying the dirty water AND pieces you vacuumed up. Like I said it’s not magic, but if you just spend 5 mins after each session you never have a big cleaning job to do.

I am absolutely thrilled to have bought this Tineco Floor One S5 Combo as I am now using it a few times a week and used to hate vaccuming and hate even more mopping the floors.
I have two long haired cats and was suprised with how well my Tineco handles it. I thought I would have to empty the dirty water tank many times for a full appartment cleaning as I have a LOT of cat hair and long human hair, but it is doing much better than expected. I sometimes have to put it on its base for a self cleaning cycle mid-cleaning, but it is so quick that it doesn’t bother me.
The dirty water tank is easy to empty and to clean, and I like the fact that I got two brush rollers as well as two filters, therefore I can switch them up whenever is needed to let the other one dry properly.
The Tineco doesn’t leave streak marks on my laminated floor, and a charge lasts long enough for me to clean my two bedrooms, the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The motor is surprisingly silent for the results I obtain, meaning I can do a quick clean even in late evenings without disturbing my neighbors (but I have a fairly well insonorised appartment). My other vacuums I would never have cleaned late in the day, they were too noisy.
When choosing my Tineco I was a little unsure if I wanted the combo version or not, as both models did have their pros and cons, but I am soooo glad I chose the combo in the end because I use the handheld vacuum every day. It’s just so quick and easy to switch it to the handheld vaccum and practical with cats that lose a lot of hair! It also was super convienient to be able to vacuum spaces that had too much hair and crumbs and stuff to use the mopvac when doing a deep after moving cleaning a month ago! Just had to have my Tineco nearby all the time to switch from vacuuming then moppping and vacuuming for a deep clean.
Overall I recommend the Tineco to anyone looking for a much simpler and efficient way to clean their home, my floors have never been cleaner!
Oh, and not to forget, although they say not to use it on carpet, I do use it on an area rug in my living room which is made to be put in the washing machine so the hair of the rug are short, but the tineco does a very good job at giving it a quick refresh (I eat in the living room often therefore have to deal with crumbs all the time).

I bought the Tineco vaccum as a mother’s day gift for my wife (at her request), in her words it has been a life changer. She wanted a vaccum that also would mop, she absolutely loves it, says it saves her so much time. If you have kids and would like to clean the floors in one go this is a must.
I’ve tried it myself as well, and it is amazing. It operates so smoothly, and even pulls itself. We have noticed a difference in how smooth and clean the floors feel after using it versus sweeping, then mopping. The comparison is mindblowing the floors look and feel cleaner. It also saves you from hurting your back, you just have to guide it, instead of scrubbing, and scrubbing with a mop.
It also comes apart, and with two attachments, to be used as a handheld vaccum which is really good for getting small crevices like couches, radiators etc.
There is a 1-2 use learning curve but once you get it figured out it’s so worth it. The charge lasts long enough to clean the kitchen, eating area, living room, hallway, playroom and 2 bathrooms, then we charge it and do the kids rooms ( we have to do separately anyway so that all the toys are out of the way before we start). After you use it, we use the self cleaning cycle, then when that is done you just have to clean the dirty water tank, the roller, and brush out the top and bottom of the hose, all of which takes 15 minutes at the most.
It has to modes auto, and max, typically she uses auto, unless there is a especially dirty spot then she’s uses the max mode. It also has an app as well that’s pretty cool and you can keep track of your cleaning, make it self clean from there as well, and tells you if there’s any errors or when you need a new roller attachment. It is a great vaccum all around. Highly recommend it!!
