Description

  • Light Alarm Clock Sunrise Simulation: changing color and brightness gradually, you can set its lighting time, brightness and alarm volume as you need; this method of waking up gives your body a chance to wake up more slowly and naturally, eliminating being jolted out of a deep sleep, especially in cold dark mornings and winter months.
  • Sunset and Dusk Setting: setting the brightness, duration, music and volume first, it will gradually fade to darkness, having the room slowly dim, really does help you relax and ‘turn off’ your brain to wind down, fall asleep more easily.
  • Dual Alarm Clock Setting: it has two alarms, and each can have sound and/or light, 2 alarm options make it great for setting weekends; or one for you and another for your wife or husband. Snooze button allows you to snooze and get up 9 mins late.
  • Pleasant Natural Sounds: including 7 kinds of natural sounds, birds chirping, ocean waves, streams, beep, wind chimes, soft music and piano; it makes such a difference to wake up slowly and with the natural sounds.
  • Bedside Lamp and FM Radio: 7 different colors as atmosphere light and 20 levels warm light in this natural light alarm clocks; also receive channels with its FM radio function, long press FM button for 2 secs and it will scan all channels automatically, radio can also be set as alarm sound.

The light alarm definitely does a good job waking me up slowly, and I appreciate the night-time feature as well. The alarm sounds are nice and relaxing. However, the instructions are not clear on all the buttons and all the designs look alike. I want to turn off the screen while I sleep so there’s no light but I’m worried the alarm will not go off. All in all, it’s a good alarm clock.

This wake-up light gradually brightens the room before the alarm goes off, which really helps prepare the mind to wake up more naturally. It has different light settings and alarm tones, but I usually just use the light feature – and it works great. A calm and effective way to start the day. Definitely recommend!

Great alarm clock/lamp for the bedroom! It does take some learning to fully utilize this product. But once you know how to use it, it’s easy! There are different colour modes you can turn on, to give it a different taste in the room. The wake up light is a great design , I like it a lot. i find it easy for me to wake up with the light gradually turning on, which makes the morning more relaxed, not rushed. I like the fact that the time on the clock can be completely turned off, it’s a good bonus for someone who doesn’t like to see the clock time when falling asleep in the night. There’s also a USB port on the back, it can come in handy to charge small electronics. Overall, it’s a great product for the price, works in a combo of clock/alarm clock/lamp (with different colour)!

So I originally purchased the device to help my son understand what time to wake up, what time to stay in his room, and what time that he will be able to leave his room. My son is 7 months old and communicating with lights and sounds came around much easier than telling him numbers on a clock.

The lights are warm, but also very bright. It’s actually blinding at first and I really suggest that you turn it down at least 3 levels. The glow simulates the sun, which is perfect in a dark room where you are try to control the amount of “sunlight” that comes into the room regardless of the time year.

If you are a new mother and trying to do sleep training, this device is worth trying out. I’m glad that I was recommended this once by a teacher, but it worked well for her child and it seems to have a positive effect on mine too.

Setting up the device it’s confusing at first because like most alarm clocks, it involves holding down a button and tapping another in order to set alarms times. But one you set it, it’s easy to forget it and just let it work for you. Good luck with the sleep training!

It is hard to fault this light for the price compared to the Phillips ones. It works, looks good, is easy to read, and I find I am waking up less groggy and more naturally than I do with a traditional alarm.

You can set two different alarms, change the intensity of the light, the sound it wakes you with, and the volume of the alarm. Of course there is a snooze button and night light button too. There is also a night mode to simulate sunset before bed, but I don’t really see the usefulness of this.

The price point shows in the quality of the alarm sounds and the brightness of the light. I find that compared to the Phillips ones, it is not as bright. The alarm sounds as well are very limited – for example – one of the alarm sounds is birds chirping which is very pleasant. However, the sound only lasts about 5-10 seconds before abruptly stopping and beginning on a loop again. It would be SO much better had they given a consistent recording of birds chirping for the entire length of the alarm, or at least blended the loops so they do not sound so distinct. The speaker itself is clearly quite cheap as well, unfortunately.

This is an attractive, useful, multifunctional wake-up light and alarm clock. It has a natural gradual sunrise and sunset simulation, 7 different colored bright lights, 7 different alarm sounds (birds, ocean, stream, beep, windbell, soft music, piano music), volume adjustment, a snooze function, dual alarm clocks, 3 sleep music options (rain, forest, river), FM radio, and more. It comes with a USB wire and plug and a clear instruction manual. It takes a bit to get used to all the different functions, but it’s fairly easy to use. The sound quality is decent, the lights are really soothing, and the alarm is portable, lightweight and compact. It’s a really cool alarm clock!

This is a nice clock but trying to reset it for daylight savings twice a year is an absolute pain – the buttons do not say minute or hour, so it’s hard to know what is what. I have to look it up every time, which causes me to delay getting to it. Also, after some time of using it, I found myself going back to just using my phone alarm. I brought this in 2021, maybe the clock has been updated since.

This wake up light is a lot better than I thought. First off the materials seem to be high quality, there is no cheap plastic feel to it. It feels sturdy in hand and looks more premium than I thought it would. The branding is minimal and you can probably just peel it off if you want to. At first glance there are a lot of buttons but the instruction manual was very clear and set up ended being very easy. It uses a micro usb to charge and it even came with its own power adapter. It has FM radio, sleep mode, colour mode, wake up mode, etc. everything I could think of. I use it mainly as a wake up light and it works perfectly. Also, I really like that you can adjust the brightness of the digital clock to very dim so it’s not super bright in your room when you sleep but still visible when you need it. The only con I can think of is that maybe they could make the night light button a little bit easier to press, but I am splitting hairs here.

I was looking for an alarm clock to replace my ancient radio alarm clock but with the added feature of a light to help with the winter blues. This one did the job! Set up was pretty straight forward for someone who’s comfortable playing around with electronics; instruction manual was easy to follow. I wish it was a bit heavier so that I could press the buttons without the whole clock moving/having to use two hands but I might look into using some double sided tape on the base to prevent that.

I like the option of waking up to the radio and that I can adjust the alarm fade in volume. The light takes some getting used to, it’s not as bright as my reading lamp but it’s enough to wake me up as a light sleeper. I probably won’t use the coloured light features or the fall asleep mode but did test them out and they work well. For the price point, not bad at all if you can get it on sale!

I really wanted to like this alarm clock, but it just doesn’t work for me. I am returning.

Like: There are 20 brightness settings, so a pretty good range. Starts at a deep red and grows to bright white.

    Dislikes:
    – Light Levels. The light clicks on, rather than slowly fading from nothing. The initial click on at the lowest light setting was enough to wake me up – even thought I wanted it to slowly wake me over a half hour.
    – Radio. The only way to switch radio stations is to let it start scanning from one end of the frequency spectrum and quickly hit the button when it gets to the station you want. But then, each time I scanned, it found different stations, so no guarantee it will find the one you want.
    – Setting the alarm. To change your alarm time, you have to go through all the alarm settings, including setting the light level, sound level, etc. So, if my husband is already asleep, I can’t change the time on my alarm without waking him up.
    – Snooze. When you hit the Snooze button, it turns off BOTH the sound AND the light. That really defeats the purpose of the light slowly fading in…
    – Turning Alarm Off. When you turn the alarm off, it also turns the light off and you have to find the tiny light button in the dark to turn in back on. Again, this defeats the purpose of the sunrise simulation.

Came without cords. Instructions were all crumpled up and the device was filthy. Obviously used 🙄 and disappointing. Returned with no issues.
