This is a solid set for home projects and general use. Both tools feel well made, have good power, and are easy to handle. The batteries last well for typical jobs, and switching between the drill and impact driver makes tasks faster and more convenient. A dependable kit for DIYers and homeowners.

I grew up on Craftsman tools and they always performed well. I miss Sears and the Craftsman line of tools. I needed a strong drill and impact driver to replace my current setup. I looked at Dewalt, Einhell and Ridgid and settled on this Craftsman set. Price was a determining factors for sure but I was also looking at the overall lines of available tools on each platform. I am not using these tools in a professional manner but I still want something that will perform well under heavy ish situations. The 2 tools in this kit are very well made and I had no problem sinking a 6 inch structural screw in treated lumber with both machines. If I need something stronger in any of my projects, I should probably hire a contractor. The kit comes with a charger and 2-1.3 amp batteries. Higher amps batteries are readily available in either OEM format or aftermarket offerings. The Craftsman tool platform is very well developed and is priced very competitively. For a DIY’er like me, this line of tools should be more than sufficient.

Después de más de 6 meses de uso (no constante) los he sometido a uso rudo para trabajos de telecomunicaciones y trabajos ligeros en casa, jalan bien, el impacto tiene buena potencia y el taladro es bueno, pero, este tiene un detalle en el mandril, no es del todo fijo y tiende a moverse (aplicando fuerza) , supongo que con el uso empeorará pero se puede cambiar, de momento me han salido muy buenos, vienen con baterías de 1.5 amperios y supongo que las de 4 amperios solo serán útiles para el tema de duración de batería, he visto reviews y comentarios sobre que la potencia no aumenta usando las de 4 amperios. En fin, buenos, bonitos y baratos (encontrado buena oferta).
*Puntos malos y a considerar*
– Mandril del taladro tendencioso a bailar (de momento no a empeorado)
– Taladro carece de potencia para mampostería pero se desempeña bien para pequeñas brocas y una profundidad de taladrado de aproximadamente 5cm (para madera y metales delgados van muy bien)
– Impacto no regulable, si no eres cuidadoso puedes romper las puntas o incluso atornillar de más
– Bolsa de herramienta algo ajustada para mi gusto
En resumen, es bueno para trabajos en casa, de vez en cuando someterlos a uso rudo, cuidando que no se calienten, no se te caigan ni tampoco les sobre exijas, siempre usa las brocas y puntas adecuadas. La marca es sinónimo de calidad.

This combo has been great for me. The batteries hold a great charge for everything I use them for. I’ve had them over 2 years now and I would not hesitate to recommend them.I’ve used the driver much more than the drill, very powerful. I do not use them in an industrial setting but many times a month.Tough to beat the price point of craftsman, and I can find batteries etc. when needed.

Have not used the drill but the impact driver is amazing, only problem I see is the forward reverse switch does not work the best , very touchy going into reverse , feels like it’s in reverse but requires an extra push to get it to go into reverse , a little annoying and wonder how it’s going to work going forward , thinking of returning it and ordering another set hoping that the switch works properly other than that I highly recommend this set .
