I bought this for use on a job site (transportation, highways) and they’re great for taking patrol videos.
It has a fish eye lens so you get the wide coverage and I find it has good quality even for picking up things at a speed, getting more or less good quality on license plates if they’re in front of you, and when reviewing the videos on your computer, you can take good snapshots from them.
I find that when it’s cloudy the DashCam’s lighting is not the best but I have used it in the night and it’s okay. There might be a feature I am missing to set, but I wish those features were automatic.
Either way, this DashCam is great for the price and does its job. When you install the mount, you can unscrew the plastic screw, push the plastic screw over the elbow connection of the DashCam, insert the DashCam into the mount via the DashCam’s elbow connection, then screw the plastic screw to secure it. It’s a bit of work and it’s kind of awkward if you sit further away from the windscreen, but that’s fine.
The box does not contain a cable for you to plug in the DashCam to your computer to offload files which I think is the biggest faux pas of the product. If you don’t have a cable, or a device to read the SD card plugged into your computer, you’d have to get one.
Ensure you use learn how to navigate it well but once you’re past that, you’re good to go. The buttons are not soft touch to activate, etc., the buttons are along the left and right sides of the DashCam and the DashCam is not touch screen, but that’s fine.
Still a good buy! Worth the price. Better than I expected.

Bonne petite caméra avec une image correcte… franchement pour un si petit écran je m attendais pas a une belle image
Ensuite la caméra est bien en français donc pour des personnes âgées qui veulent s’y mettre sans trop savoir ca c’est top mais dommage que la notice soit en anglais
Son gabarit n’est pas très discret vu de l’extérieur en revanche a l’intérieur nickel je l’ai caler dans la voiture de mon pere derrière le rétro intérieur quand-même et il s’agit d’une renault laguna phase 2
Et pour finir prise de vue impeccable c’est bien comme dit l annonce a savoir 170°
Apres pour ceux qui veulent du haute gamme c’est sur que la c’est pas top en revanche pour des personnes comme moi qui veulent juste des preuves en cas de problème avec un tiers bah vous serez pas déçu rapport qualité prix

Het leek me een prima dashcam: qua prijs, functionaliteit en reviews. MAAR: het laadsnoer eindigt onlosmakelijk in een stekker die past in de sigarettenaansteker. Die is in mijn auto reeds bezet en veel moderne auto’s hebben zo’n aansluiting niet meer….!

Smart little camera. Not too big, not too small. Great functionality. You only need dash cam, forget rear facing. Cameras don’t prevent anything. The dash cam merely documents that YOU went through a green light.

What a nice surprise this camera is. First, it’s not too big, that was my fear, that it’d interfere with being able to drive because of its size, but it’s perfect. Another one was that it’d be too complicated to install and use, but I was wrong, it’s SO easy! Basically just plug it, start the car and that’s it! It starts recording automatically. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, I’ve only used it a few times so far because I don’t need to drive everyday but I’m happy with it, easy to use and image is clear, there’s audio too!

Les boutons de la caméra ne sont pas intuitifs…je ne suis pas du genre à lire les manuels pour les électroniques et je connais d’autres personnes qui aurait de la difficulté avec ce genre de présentation. J’ai quand même réussi à la préparer comme il faut pour mes besoins mais je ne l’aime pas vraiment. Toucher les deux côtés de l’appareil est vraiment maladroit (ex: pour supprimer une photo) car un doigt fini par obstruer et tâcher l’objectif. Je n’arrive même pas à installer cette caméra dans ma voiture. la ventouse est inutilisable dans le froid. Il devrait y avoir une alternative à ce gadget lors des températures intenses. Je n’arrive pas à charge cette caméra avec un câble mural. J’imagine que ce n’est que lors de la conduite mais je trouve cela impratique! Je l’ai testé à quelque reprises dans la maison, dans plusieurs luminosités. Le son n’est pas sa première qualité. Produit frustrant avant même de pouvoir la mettre dans mon véhicule et l’utiliser. On paye pour ce qu’on reçoit et ça dépanne le temps de trouver mieux.

I have tried at least one other dash cam and this particular one is by far the best. Others require involving a smart phone and are very complicated to get running. The BOOGIIO comes with very clear instructions and is extremely easy to activate. All functions are easily set up using just the camera itself in just minutes. One of the best features for me is, the camera activates as soon as it gets power and automatically begins recording. I have now purchased one for each of my vehicles and another for a family member who is technically challenged.
