Nice little saw at a phenomenal price. Allows me to cut 2×4 lumber and some trim at precise angles. Moreover, Amazon sells the version with the battery and charger for the same price that most stores sell you the bare unit. A very economical choice.

Excellent saw, very convenient, compact. Used a lot on the past year. Lots of power for what it is. No issues ripping through 3 1x6s at a time.

As with all DEWALT products, this mitre saw doesn’t disappoint. It’s well designed, easy to use, and surprisingly powerful for a cordless model. The build quality feels solid, and it handles cuts with precision and confidence. A reliable addition to any workshop.

Très content et satisfait de la scie Dewalt à onglet à batterie sans batterie, elle fonctionne très bien pour les menus travaux que j’ai fais .

This is a perfect miter saw for my needs, I don’t have a huge wood shop and I don’t do overly huge projects, small tables, book shelves, cutting boards, things like that. I have quite a few dewalt products following in my fathers foot steps and I love the build of this thing. The dust collection is great for what it is, I have it hooked to my stealth sonic and nothing is perfect: but it catches way more then I expected! It cuts through anything I put at it so far in my test, its light weight and easy to use and I for see no issues with this stable, strong, well built, high quality saw. If you told me this came out years ago before I looked it up I would never believe you because it seems built to last for ages! It will get a ton of use!

What a handy saw. Cuts as good as my corded non brand name and is very accurate.
Build quality is A+
Only draw back is it’s not a double bevel. At price point it should def be.
Would be a perfect do it all saw if it was.

There are several battery tool makers that make portable sliding miter saws. I’m already heavily into the Dewalt eco system so have lots of batteries. I choose this saw partly for that reason and partly because of the reviews. I wanted a very portable saw and don’t need large capacity on site. I have been very impressed. It handles everything I want to do on site and does it very quietly and accurately. It would be nice if it tilted both ways or had larger capacity etc. You can get those capabilities with other tool makers but they cost more and add weight. For what I want this hits the nail squarely on the head. I looked at the Makita which I think is quite good and more capable but way heavier and nearly twice the price. So it’s all about matching your needs to your budget.

This saw is great. It doesn’t replace my corded, bigger more powerful miter saw but it does have a place in my reno projects. Great for doing trim work. Easy to carry around. I used up at my cabinet in the woods were I have no power. I framed an 8×8 extention on my cabine. I cut 2×4’s and 2×6’s. 45 degree and some compound miters. You have to go a little slower with the curs and make sure you always have a good sharp blade on the saw. I used a 5 amp battery and I get about 50 to 60 cuts. Very happy with this tool.

So my wife and I own and operate a small handyman business in our condominium complex which exists of 2-21 story buildings and several outbuildings. We purchased a 10″ mitre saw with a stand that had wheels thinking it would be perfect to move around when needed. After using the 10″ for a while we realized that it was quite awkward and a little heavier than we thought so we bought this 7-1/4″ Dewalt mitre saw. On top of being approximately 65lbs lighter it has performed flawlessly so far and has plenty of power. I do a lot of shelving with 12″ boards and the only thing is that I need to flip the board to complete the cut but honestly that’s the only thing we find that could be frustrating for some people but it has absolutely no effect on me. I’m using a Dewalt Power Stack 5ah battery and in the last week I’ve used the saw a total of 12 hours without any problems. Depending on the level of work you do I think this saw is more than sufficient for all trim, 2×4’s etc…, and all shelving. I highly recommend this saw. It came in the original box and I checked it out thoroughly and it clearly had not ever been used. I find the entire Dewalt 20v line one of the best out there today, they are a solid product and the warranty is awesome with the 3 year plan.
