The advertisement indicates that the
battery is included, and the specs indicated that it’s not included. When the package showed up the battery was not included. Other than that, the product is great. Would recommend.

I needed to router out the door latches on 9 doors in my house, I was able to mark the area, set the depth and free hand all the cuts. It made the job so much easier compared to chiselling out the slot and trying to figure out the depth. I went on to use this for a couple of trim cuts on the box I made and again it handled it like a champ. Love the easy adjustment, love the power from this and honestly I have nothing negative that I can say. Great tool in the arsenal!

After using this, i have now put my well loved but corded router. Powerful even for a battery operated router. The brake is wonderful and the LED lights helps as i mostly do my work after work and day light is limited. Will be getting the dust extractor, definitely needed.

I watched many reviews and chose this trim router because of the pros over the cons.
The only thing I would say negative is the size. If you have small hands you may have issues.
On the positive side of things;
1. I love the power it has, especially if you use the right battery.
2. Soft start is very nice. it does not jerk your hand at start up.
3. Fast break, when you press the off button it STOP.
4. LED and clear base helps with precision work.
I am already in the Dewalt system, which influenced my decision, but it is still one of the best router out there.

Amazing cordless wood router. Much more versatile and portable than corded.
There is a newer, powerful model, but be prepared to dish out $200-$250 extra bucks. If you’re not doing any heavy-duty woodworking, this tool is more than enough.
