My wife likes it. She finds breaking down cardboard boxes very hard on her hands using scissors to do the cutting. This tool makes it so easy and no more sore hands from using scissors.

Works great. Very efficient, easy to grip and hold onto, need to hold it at a downward angle vs perpendicular to the box. We cut up 3 boxes. It did a great job of cutting the boxes. So far no battery issues. We will cut more up in a few days. Fingers crossed the charge lasts!

I really didn’t think I wanted this, however, my husband thought it would be handy. Guess what, he was right. It is so wonderful for cutting up boxes and so many other items (especially if you recycle).

Efficiently shreds thicker boxes with ease. Occasionally, it gets caught and needs a bit of wiggling, but overall it performs well—and I’m happy with it.

I’ve been looking for a very long time for a box cutter tool that could be recharged, hand held, reliable and most of all easy to use. This Zip Snip checks all the boxes. I have to say I am impressed. On one charge, I managed to reduce 53 medium size moving boxes (ie the size of 2 banker boxes merged together) plus 2 extra large boxes (ie 4 banker boxes merged together) to pieces the size of a table coaster in order to place them into our recycling bins. This tool slices through the boxes like butter and has a ergonomic handle so that it doesn’t stress your arms or hands while using it. I’m ambidextrous (can use both both my right and left hand) and found that I could use the tool with both hands no problem. I appreciate the safety switch you have to push use when holding the trigger down to use the tool. This Zip Snip tool is also great for making random shapes out of cardboard such as animal ears, circles, triangles, cardboard houses etc as the rotating blades permits you to make smooth curves as well as lines.

Husband was excited to receive this for Christmas! Showed my dad and he lit up too! Great for any man in your life! It cuts material aswell, great quality and works well! An exciting way to cut down boxes!!

I bought this because I have a ton of boxes from when I moved, as well as Amazon delivery boxes, that needed to get broken down. I saw videos of people with ADHD using this and decided to go for it. I love it! It’s easy and fun to use, breaks even thick boxes down easily, and has a good battery life. I don’t understand the negative reviews about it being hard to use because of having to push the button while squeezing the handle. I don’t have a lot of strength in my muscles after having Graves Disease and I have had no issue. Even if this only lasts a year, it will still be a great find.

I love this product however the On/off switch doesn’t seem to Lock into position. so this is a question? as well I’ve received two that don’t lock…do yours lock into position?

I purchased these after recommendations online for a similar product and not they’re a life changer! These easily cut through all sorts of card board, plastic and anything else, making breaking down boxes for recycling a breeze, opening packaging easy, and even work perfect for cutting carpet and fabric. Great for all those things you’d wear your hands out doing before, and no soreness afterwards.
The blade is self sharpening and holds an edge well, it uses a standard barrel jack plug included for charging and is a good and sturdy material that’ll last a long time.
